Students Who Need Reading Buddies – WeSeeU (We See You!)
This is a mentoring opportunity for volunteers to be matched with a student in one of the underserved schools that need extra help with Reading or Spelling. As a volunteer, you will be matched with a student in a school near you. The program requires at least 2 hours a month of volunteer time with a student. The hours are during school and are flexible so that the volunteer could meet with the student during their lunch hour and even have lunch with the student! All volunteers will be cleared through the volunteer link before they will be able to begin this program. This is another way to make a positive impact to the community.
Financial Literacy (using the PwC AYP curriculum) volunteers will teach the curriculum to your school or group of students. This is usually an 8-week program (one day a week). We also have boot camp style sessions available for high school/college students (one day – 7.5 hrs).
Financial Literacy – Train the Trainer sessions available for organizations that have youth programs so that they can learn how to present the curriculum in their own programs (one day – 7.5hrs).
